Here is a Card and a couple of vases of flowers that i made for a wedding shower that I went to.  Obviously her wedding flowers are going to be blue hydrangea's. The flowers were just something to put on her table with her cake as a decoration, not her gift. I hope that she like them though.  I think that her mom kept them......

Today I made a card for my daughter's Mother-In-Law.  She is one of the sweetest people in the whole world.  I am so happy that she wound up with such a great family.  Never mind that she wound up with a guy that adores herm but she was lucky enough to have the perfect Mother-In-Law and Father-In-Law. Anyhow, she was so sweet to sent me a beautiful book on the Arizona Highways.  Very beautiful pictures and very interesting information and I really appreciate it so I made her a card to thank her.  I hope she likes it....

Here is a card that I made for a dear friend of mine that SAVED my Christmas with her delicious Christmas cookies.  She was so sweet to bake for so many of her friends and family.  She spent 2 full weeks baking and then turned around  and gave most of it away.  EVERYTHING that you sent over Donna, was oh so good and oh so appreciated. I thank God every day for friends like you.

Today is my mother's 93 birthday.  I can't believe that she still lives alone at 93 but she does.  God Bless her..........

Angela's Birthday

Hi everyone, well, I told you I was not going to be very good at keeping this blog posted.  I keep forgetting about it. We celebrated our Ladies Night Out at church on Monday and it was a hugh success.  It is a a night that the church puts on to celebrate the women in the church. We want to make sure that all the women in the church have some sort of christmas so they dedicate the night to not only the women in the church, but a local women's shelter is also supported.  The church  showers the women in the shelter to a day of spa treatment.  Makeovers, hair cuts, nails, lunch, dinner etc.  They also give them a gift at the actual banquet.  They also provide gifts for the single mom's and widow's of the church.  It is a very lovely time for everyone to share their love and faith with each other.  This year we had a beautiful woman speaker, Lynette Lewis, that shared her  testimony.  She was just awesome......

Anyhow, the card that I am sharing today was given to my dear friend Angela.  This is another Elizabeth Bell stamp.  As you can tell by now, I just love her work... Hope you like the card.

Well, I told you all that I would have a hard time keeping up with this blog.  I have had my grandson here for about 10 days while his father went deer hunting and his mother went home to to go work.  We celebrated Thanksgiving last week because my son-in-law has to work on Thanksgiving right in the middle of the day so we would not be able to celebrate with him. But as it turned out, my son left the morning that we were going to celebrate so now Angelo and I and Sharna are going to my son's to celebrate with him on Thanksgiving Day.  Angelo has been pretty sick with some sort of virus this whole week so I have been very busy taking care of him, taking care of my grandson, coordinating our Church Christmas Party that is November 28th, and preparing a Thanksgiving dinner.  Wow, I am getting old. I had to make about 100 telephone calls for people to help with the Christmas Party and boy oh boy..it never use to bother me as much as it does now.  I really don't like being on the phone that much anymore..
I am posting a card that I made for a friend of mine as a Thank You card.  We just met her and she invited Angelo and I to her beautiful home on Higgins Lake.  She waited 25 years to get this particular house and she finally did it.  She was raised on Higgins lake and still has another home there but she always wanted this particular home and when it became available she bought it.  I am so happy for her because it is her dream home.  Anyhow, I hope that you like the card and I will try to be better at posting but you all know me...Probably not going to happen....

  

Just Because

Hello everyone and Happy Thursday to ya.  I am going to post a card that I gave to my youngest daughter a while back.  There was really no reason for it just to say that I love you.  This is a Elizabeth Bell creation which by now you all know that she is my all time favorite artist.  Just love her and her talent to death.
I am going to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family this weekend as we are not all able to get together on the actual day (which happens to be my birthday this year. He He. I was reminded of that today)..Anyhow, waiting for my son and his family to arrive from Ohio.  I wish I could spend more time with them as I really miss them (especially my grandson, Mikey)..

Happy Birthday Anne

Happy Tuesday to all.  Well today I went to my Ladies Bible Study that was awesome but as soon as I left I started feeling crummy.  By the time I got home my head was pounding , my throat was killing me and I ached all over.  I came in the house and laid right on the couch and fell asleep.I slept for about 2 hours and tonight I feel a little better.

Well, My girlfriend, Anne celebrated her birthday Sunday so I am going to show you the card that I made for her.  I hope you had a wonderful birthday Anne and you were the best assistant ever........ I love the expression on this little one's face....
